Our last batch of pasture raised, freedom ranger meat birds are being processed early next week. Reach out with any special cuts or preorders. Popular cuts will most likely be out of stock by August. Our next batch will not be slaughtered until Octob

Noticed a cecropia moth caterpillar wandering around this week. We placed it on one of our red maple trees and it already made a cocoon to overwinter until next spring. They are the largest moth in this area. Yes, it’s fucking huge.

I hate spring storms. Tunnel 2 gone, hail shredded tender greens and strawberries. And it tossed my kids’ play set just for spite, right?
I don’t miss getting up frequently during the night shedding the snow when the tunnel can do it on its own, thank you Atlas. Especially with 2 young kids who get you up early in the morning anyway... 11” this round.
